Skills for development

We have recently achieved with success our proof of concepts – (clik here for more details).  ICT and internet can provide a wide range of benefits to users. That requires specific skills and knowledge. People who lack ICT skills, knowledge and understanding are limited in reaching out opportunities: jobs, business development and management, information  sharing, SDGs, online courses, issues of health, legal, Women’s rights, climate change, peace, addresses, institutions, companies etc.  – Read more here

Our business strategy is to make the training (read here) one day happen in each country to be spread across Africa and worldwide.

Community of practices

Our community of practices which will be tailored to our regional platform (under development) and our core business Skills and Knowledge for development is currently under development. It will be a global learning community Space that supports our members and our stakeholders. It will include participants and non-participants of our programs/projects. It will be a market place of giving and receiving-exchange of ideas, experiences, views, information, contacts and tools that help people to keep update on global challenges and opportunities for their individual and community goals setting and achievement. Putting the Skills and knowledge at the core of UN SDGs Agenda 2030

 

The project aims to produce (click on here to download or view the project concept note) video materials which link the work KFDWB to the substantive content of the SDGs, while at the same time encouraging young people in the developing world to develop the requisite skills and knowledge for the achievement of the SDGs
